Questions
Do I need to know accounting?
No. You record everyday things — an expense, a sale, a transfer — and Burraq does the double-entry bookkeeping behind the scenes. Every screen explains itself.
What happens after the free trial?
Your 30-day trial includes everything. To keep going, subscribe for US$20 a month (in Pakistan, Rs 5,000 a month by JazzCash). If you don't, your books are kept safely and stay readable until you decide.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel whenever you like; you keep access until the end of the month you've paid for.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your books are kept on your own device, not on our servers — we only keep your sign-in and subscription. Connections are encrypted and every change is recorded in your activity log.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Pages you've opened before keep working offline and your entries are saved on the device. Connect at least once a week so Burraq can check your subscription.
Can I use it on two devices?
Each phone or computer keeps its own books. To move them, save a backup on the old device (Backup → Save a backup) and restore it on the new one. Keep backups somewhere safe — if the browser's data is cleared, a backup is how you get your books back.
Which devices does it work on?
Any modern browser: Android phones, iPhones and iPads, and Windows or Mac computers. You can install it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Every report downloads as PDF, Excel or CSV, and a backup file holds all your books.
